Synopsis

Hero MotoCorp’s electric brand VIDA has launched the VX2 Go 3.4 kWh scooter, unveiled by Union Minister Nitin Gadkari. With a 100 km range, dual removable batteries, and a ₹1.02 lakh price tag, the new model expands VIDA’s VX2 lineup and reinforces its goal of making electric mobility more affordable for Indian households.

Hero MotoCorp’s electric mobility brand VIDA on Monday expanded its VX2 lineup with the launch of the VX2 Go 3.4 kWh variant, unveiled by Union Road Transport and Highways Minister Nitin Gadkari. The new model aims to make electric scooters more practical and affordable, aligning with VIDA’s “Ghar Ghar Evooter” vision of bringing EVs to every household.

The VX2 Go 3.4 kWh features a dual-removable-battery system offering a real-world range of up to 100 km per charge, peak power of 6 kW, and 26 Nm torque. It comes with Eco and Ride modes, a top speed of 70 km/h, and design updates for comfort and convenience, including a flat floorboard, 27.2-litre under-seat storage, and suspension tuned for Indian roads.

“The new Evooter VX2 Go 3.4 kWh is designed for those who seek more range and efficiency in their commute — conscious of performance, practicality, and purpose,” said Kausalya Nandakumar, Chief Business Officer – Emerging Mobility Business Unit, Hero MotoCorp.

VIDA continues to expand its Battery-as-a-Service (BaaS) model, allowing customers to subscribe to the battery instead of purchasing it, lowering upfront costs. Backed by over 4,600 charging points and 700 service touchpoints nationwide, VIDA aims to make EV ownership more accessible.

Priced at ₹1.02 lakh (ex-showroom), the VX2 Go 3.4 kWh will be available at VIDA dealerships from November 2025. With this, the VX2 lineup now includes VX2 Go 2.2 kWh, VX2 Go 3.4 kWh, and VX2 Plus variants.
