In a heartbreaking incident in the Saran district of Bihar, a roof collapse resulted in the deaths of five family members, including three children. This tragic event occurred late Sunday night, around 9:45 PM, as reported by local authorities.

At the time of the incident, the family was asleep in their home located in the village of Manas, within the Akilpur police jurisdiction. Senior police officer Kumar Ashish confirmed the details, stating, "The roof collapse led to the unfortunate demise of five family members, including three children. A police team arrived promptly at the scene and retrieved the bodies from the debris. The deceased have been sent for post-mortem examination."

Authorities are currently working on identifying the victims. Local residents have reported that the house was over 30 years old and had deteriorated significantly over time. The officer mentioned that the police have submitted all necessary documentation to the district administration to ensure that the families of the victims receive adequate compensation.
