Madhya Pradesh Day will be celebrated in Kevadiya on 11th November under Bharat Parv 2025. The rich culture of the state will be showcased through attractive theme pavilions, traditional dishes, handicrafts exhibition and “Amritsya Madhya Pradesh” dance performance.
Bhopal. 'Bharat Parv' is being organized from 1 November to 15 November 2025 in Kevadiya, Gujarat on the occasion of the 150th birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, the Iron Man of India. Madhya Pradesh Day will be celebrated with joy and enthusiasm on Tuesday, November 11, in the special hospitality of Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav. The objective of this event is to showcase the unity in diversity of the country in accordance with the spirit of “Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat”.
The rich heritage of the state will be visible in Madhya Pradesh theme pavilion.
Minister of State Dharmendra Bhav Singh Lodhi said that an attractive theme pavilion has been prepared by Madhya Pradesh Tourism Board in an area of about 25 square meters. In this, the tourism, culture and handicraft heritage of the state is being presented effectively.
Historical and religious places like Sanchi, Khajuraho, Bhimbetka, Mandu, Orchha, Ujjain and Omkareshwar are displayed in the pavilion. Along with this, glimpses of famous national parks like Bandhavgarh, Kanha and Pench are also being shown. Here visitors will get to see the beauty of traditional handicrafts like Chanderi and Maheshwari textiles, Bagh print, Dokra art, pottery and Gond painting.
Madhya Pradesh- Heart of India
Additional Chief Secretary Shiv Shekhar Shukla said that Bharat Parv is a celebration of cultural unity and diversity of the country. He said, "Madhya Pradesh is the heart of India. Its traditions, taste and art reflect the soul of our country." He said that on this occasion, visitors are being connected with the soul of 'Incomparable Madhya Pradesh' through presentation of tourism, handicrafts, cuisine and culture. While enjoying the taste and music of Madhya Pradesh, people will experience its spiritual energy and vibrancy.
'Flavors from the Heart of India' at Studio Kitchen
A special studio kitchen presentation will be organized by MP Tourism Development Corporation (MPSTDC) on 11th November. It is based on the theme “Flavors from the Heart of India”, in which traditional and local dishes of Madhya Pradesh will be prepared and served live.
Major dishes include-
- Buttermilk based drink 'Sannata' of Bundelkhand
- Dindori's Kangni Dal Broth
- Malwa Corn Cheese
- Chambal's imposition
- Sidhi Ka Bedai Dhumna Aloo
- Pea Nimona and plain Puri of Baghelkhand
- Shahdol's famous sweet Kutki Kheer
All these dishes reflect the geographical and cultural diversity of different regions of the state.
Cultural presentation- 'Amritsya Madhya Pradesh'
On behalf of the Culture Department, a grand dance presentation titled “Amritsya Madhya Pradesh” will be given by the famous dance choreographer Maitriya Pahadi and her group. This presentation connects the audience with the civilization, devotion, love and rhythm of nature of Madhya Pradesh. The dance saga begins from the caves of Bhimbetka, where the first glimpse of human civilization is seen.
This will be followed by emotional scenes of Khajuraho Temple, Sanchi Stupa, and the holy land of Chitrakoot. Then the grandeur of the Jyotirlingas of Ujjain and Omkareshwar, Gwalior Fort, the love story of Mandu and the temples of Orchha will come alive on the stage.
The forest scenes of Bandhavgarh, Kanha and Pench and the marble rocks of Jabalpur reflect the deep relationship between man and nature. Artists dressed in Maheshwari, Chanderi and Bagh print clothes will glorify the craft heritage of the state on stage. This presentation will reach its spiritual climax with the grand scene of Narmada Aarti.
