From our kitchen to our bathroom, one thing that is common is the tap. With the help of tap, we clean our sink and bathroom very well. But often we forget to clean it. Due to carelessness in cleaning the tap, water stains get accumulated on it. These stains are so stubborn that they do not come out even after removing them. Gradually due to this, rust starts appearing on the tap which looks very bad. If the condition of the taps in your house is like this then let us know what to do to make it shine?
Try these tips to remove water stains from tap:
- Baking Soda Paste: Make a paste by mixing baking soda with some water. Apply the paste to the stained areas on the faucet. Leave the paste on for 15-30 minutes. Scrub the stains gently with an old toothbrush, trying to reach the smallest corners. Rinse the faucet thoroughly with warm water and wipe dry with a soft cloth.
- White Vinegar Paste: Mix equal amounts of white vinegar and water. Soak a cloth in the solution and wrap it around the tap. Let it sit for at least 30 minutes, or up to an hour for more stubborn stains. Use a brush to remove any remaining stains. To avoid water spots, rinse the faucet with hot water and dry it.
- dish soap: Dish soap can also be used to remove frozen water stains on the tap. To clean the faucet, add a few drops of dish soap to warm water. Now, apply this paste on the tap and clean it thoroughly with a brush after 15 minutes.
- Lemon Juice: To remove faucet stains, apply lemon juice on the stained areas and leave it for 10-15 minutes. After this, clean it by rubbing and washing, because the natural acid present in lemon juice helps in breaking the limescale.
