A cure for every winter disease, this magical chutney of gooseberry and honey

today we are talking Amla and Honey Chutney of. This is not a common chutney, but a superfood for winters. Amla, known as the king of Vitamin C, and honey, known for its anti-bacterial powers – when combined together, the mixture is no less than an expensive medicine.

Why is this chutney so special?

  • Keep cold and cough away: It is rich in Vitamin C, which strengthens our body’s immunity to fight diseases. Eating one spoon daily does not prevent seasonal diseases.
  • It is a boon for the stomach: This chutney improves our digestion, which provides relief from problems like gas, acidity and constipation.
  • Bring shine to hair and skin: Amla is considered nectar for hair and skin. Eating this chutney regularly makes the skin glow and the hair becomes strong and black.

The easiest way to make (home recipe)

You don’t have to make any special preparation for this. Just a few simple things are needed:

Material:

  • Amla – 250 grams
  • Honey – 2-3 tbsp (as per your taste)
  • Ginger – 1 small piece
  • Green chilli – 1 (if you like spicy)
  • Green coriander/mint – a few leaves
  • Black salt and roasted cumin – to taste

Method:

  1. First of all, wash the gooseberries thoroughly and boil them in water until they become soft.
  2. When the gooseberries cool down, take out their seeds and separate them.
  3. Now add boiled gooseberries, ginger, green chillies, coriander/mint, black salt and cumin seeds in the mixer jar.
  4. Grind everything together well. If needed, you can add one or two spoons of water.
  5. When the chutney is ground, take it out in a bowl and finally add honey to it.

Your taste and health rich Amla Chutney is ready! You can keep it in the fridge for a week and eat one spoon with your food every day. It will give taste as well as health.
