Mumbai: Renowned actor Dharmendra, aged 89, has been receiving ventilator support since November 10, according to a family insider.
In response to numerous rumors about his passing, his daughter, actress Esha Deol, released a statement on Tuesday to clarify the situation, asserting that her father is "stable and recovering."
"The media appears to be in a frenzy, spreading misinformation. My father is stable and on the mend. We kindly ask for privacy for our family during this time. Thank you for your prayers for his swift recovery," Esha Deol expressed in a social media post.
The iconic Hindi film star, often dubbed the "He-Man" of Indian cinema, is currently under medical care, although the family has chosen not to reveal specifics regarding his health condition.
