Fetal Remains Discovered in Noida
In another tragic event, a fetal remains of a girl was found in a garbage heap in the Beta-2 area of Noida on Sunday. The police, who arrived at the scene, took the remains into custody and sent them for post-mortem examination.
Authorities suspect that the parents may have discarded the fetus due to societal pressures after an abortion, as the fetus is estimated to be around seven months old.
Details of the Discovery
Inspector Vinod Kumar from Beta-2 police station reported that sanitation workers employed by the Greater Noida Authority discovered the fetal remains while cleaning near the village of Aichhar. They promptly notified the police, who confirmed that the remains belonged to a female fetus.
The remains have been sent for post-mortem, and a DNA test will be conducted. Initial findings indicate that the parents may have abandoned the fetus due to societal stigma surrounding the situation. The police are continuing their investigation into the matter.
