Flying Wedge Defence and Aerospace, an Indian defence tech manufacturing and AI warfare company has bagged the silver medal at ARCA 23rd International exhibition of Innovation 2025 held in Zagreb, Croatia. The recognition was awarded for Kaala Bhairava E2A2, India’s first AI-Powered, Medium Altitude Long Endurance (MALE) Autonomous Combat Aircraft.
Developed as a force multiplier, the aircraft is designed and manufactured entirely in India. Engineered to operate for up to 30 hours and cover a range of 3000 Kms, Kaala Bhairava E2A2 is capable of multi-angle precision strikes, swarm warfare operations and provides intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance (ISR) redundancy, offering a scalable alternative to high cost foreign imports.
While speaking about the recognition, Suhas Tejaskanda, CEO and Founder, Flying Wedge Defence and Aerospace, said, “This win is not just for the company, it’s a recognition of India's military and technological advancements. Our aim remains clear- made in India, for the world. Each milestone we achieve brings us closer to our goal of advancing India’s defence capabilities and making us a global hub for defence manufacturing.”
“For too long, we have been dependent on expensive foreign imports, with no sovereign control, it’s time we change that”, he added.
Organised by Croatian Union of Innovations and supported by the International Federation of Inventors' Associations (IFIA), ARCA 2025 featured over 300 innovations and technological breakthroughs from 35 countries, bringing together the world’s leading defence innovators, research institutions, and tech enterprises. The exhibition holds a global status of a platform where ideas evolve into impactful solutions shaping the future.
