Bihar Assembly Election 2025: After the second phase of the Bihar Assembly elections, the counting of votes will be held on November 14 at 46 counting centers in the state, including Patna, the capital of Bihar. A tight three-tier security system has been made in the strong room near all the counting centers. Bihar Chief Electoral Officer Vinod Singh Gunjyal informed that CCTV cameras are being used to monitor the counting centers and strong rooms in all the concerned districts.
Arrangements have been made for candidates and their counting agents to be present under supervision. All the EVMs will be brought to the counting centers on time and counting will be done there. For this, District Election Officers and District Magistrates of all districts have been directed to strictly follow the guidelines of the Election Commission, said Election Officer Vinod Singh Gunjyal.

Tight security arrangements for the strong room
Vinod Gunjyal said that two days ago, a team of officers from the headquarters inspected all the strong rooms. During the inspection, a loose display wire in the main control room obstructed monitoring, which has been repaired. All the CCTV footages have been shown to the representatives of the respective candidates. Apart from the first grid, a backup grid has been created at all polling stations to ensure close monitoring.
35 complaints received during polling
Meanwhile, a total of 35 complaints were received in both the phases of the Bihar assembly elections. Five complaints were received in the first phase but 30 complaints were received in the second phase. All these complaints were promptly resolved. Also, state level control cells, district control cells for redressal of complaints and control cells in Election Officer’s office were established. These issues were promptly resolved.

Training of 1,050 employees for fair polling
According to the District Magistrate, a total of 1,050 officers and employees are being trained to ensure a completely fair and flawless polling process. This training has been organized in two phases, the second phase will be conducted on November 13. Earlier, the first phase was completed on November 10. A team of six pre-trained Master Trainers guided the poll workers in the training program conducted under the supervision of Chief Executive Officer Anil Kumar Patel.
