New Delhi . For the convenience of workers associated with construction and other works, the Central Government has launched Digital Labor Chowk mobile app. Through this, workers will be able to find work in their local areas according to their experience and needs. On Tuesday, Union Labor Minister Dr. Mansukh Mandaviya launched the app and cess collection portal at Bharat Mandapam.
Workers and employers will get the facility of registration through the app. Workers can register by entering their name, age, address, mobile number and mail ID. You will also have to fill information to your skills.

After that the complete profile will be ready. Similarly, employers will have to enter complete information about themselves, the project and the type of workers required on the app. With this, workers will be able to find work in their nearby area as per their need.
You will be able to choose the work of your choice while sitting at home
This app is like Urban Clap. Instead of coming to Labor Chowk, workers will be able to choose the work of their choice sitting at home through the app. This will also provide relief from the crowd at Labor Chowk. Similarly, every project will have to be registered with complete details on the cess collection portal, which will help the states to collect cess from construction works in a better way.
Labor facility center will be built at Labor Chowk
Along with this, the government has decided to develop more than three lakh labor chowks across the country as convenience labor centres. Through this, workers will be able to get better facilities. The government says that at present there are many dangers at these roadside chowks, including road accidents.
Apart from this there are no facilities for the workers. Therefore, at those Labor Chowks where more workers come and there is more space available nearby, then Advanced Labor Chowk Facilitation Center should be built there.

A permanent building will be built, which will have facilities like electricity, water, internet, workers registration, health check-up, skill development training. There will be special arrangements for women workers also.
