However on Tuesday morning reports of his death began circulating on social media which were later dismissed by his daughter Esha Deol and wife Hema Malini. Taking to X (formerly known as Twitter) Hema Malini lashed out at reports falsely claiming that Dharmendra had passed away. She wrote What is happening is unforgivable! How can responsible channels spread false news about a person who is responding to treatment and is recovering? This is being extremely disrespectful and irresponsible.
