Logistics stock gains over 5 percent as Q2 profit grows 17 percent, check share price and other details

New Delhi: Shares of the homegrown logistics firm Tiger Logistics rose over 5 percent on Wednesday after the announcement of positive quarterly results. The stock opened at Rs 42.38 up from the previous close of Rs 41.62 on the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE). It further increased to an intraday high of Rs 43.88 marking a gain of 5.43 percent from the previous close. On the National Stock Exchange (NSE) the stock began trading at Rs 42.40 compared to the previous close of Rs 41.58. Over the past two days the stock has been on an upward trend with a total increase of 4.08 percent during this period. Most recently it was trading at Rs 43.17 reflecting a gain of 3.82 percent. The company has a market capitalization of Rs 456.41 crore. From a technical perspective the stock is trading above the 5-day and 20-day moving averages but below the 50-day 100-day and 200-day moving averages. For the September quarter of FY26 the company reported a 17.9 percent increase in net profit amounting to Rs 11.97 crore compared to Rs 10.15 crore in the same quarter last year. On a sequential basis this represents an approximate 90 percent jump from Rs 6.29 crore in the quarter ending June 30. Revenue for the quarter rose to Rs 1687 crore up from Rs 1607 crore in the same quarter a year ago. According to BSE Analytics the stock has delivered a remarkable return of 1119.21 percent over five years and 34.50 percent over three years. However it has corrected by 35.99 percent over the past year. Year-to-date the stock has decreased by 38.56 percent in contrast to a positive return of 7.81 percent for the benchmark index. On Wednesday morning equity benchmark indices Sensex and Nifty climbed driven by buying activity in blue-chip companies such as Reliance Industries Infosys and Bharti Airtel supported by favorable global cues. Traders also noted that optimism regarding a potential India-US trade deal contributed to positive investor sentiment.
