Palak Pakode Recipe: What can we say if we get something hot to eat with evening tea during the cold season. Everyone wants something tasty in their evening snacks. And in such a situation, spinach pakodas are not only delicious, but are also a healthy option. Iron and vitamins are found in abundance in spinach. When it is mixed with gram flour and spices, everyone likes its crispness. So today we will tell you the recipe of delicious pakodas.

Material

  • Fresh spinach leaves – 1 cup (finely chopped)
  • Gram flour – 1 cup
  • Rice flour – 2 tbsp
  • Onion – 1 (finely chopped)
  • Green chilli – 1-2 (finely chopped)
  • Ginger-garlic paste – 1 tsp
  • Red chilli powder – ½ tsp
  • Turmeric – ¼ tsp
  • Coriander powder – ½ tsp
  • salt to taste
  • A little water (to make gram flour batter)
  • Oil – for frying

Method

1-Add gram flour, rice flour, spices and salt in a bowl. Prepare a thick batter by adding water little by little (as used for pakodas). 2-Now add chopped spinach, onion and green chilli to it. Mix well. 3-Now heat oil in a pan. And let the oil heat well. When the oil becomes hot, make small balls of the gram flour mixture prepared and put them in the oil.

4- When the pakodas start turning golden brown, turn them well and fry them until they become crispy. In this way your delicious pakodas are ready.

Serve pakodas with green chutney, tamarind chutney or hot tea.
