PM Modi visits Red Fort blast victims, says 'culprits won't be spared'

New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi met the victims of the Red Fort blast at Lok Nayak Hospital soon after returning from his visit to Bhutan. He spoke to the injured and their families, expressing deep grief over the tragedy.

Soon after the blast, PM Modi had assured the nation from Bhutan that all those behind the attack would be punished. He is now set to chair a key Cabinet and high-level security meeting to review the situation.

Just after landing in Delhi, Prime Minister Narendra Modi went straight to LNJP Hospital to meet the victims of the Red Fort blast. He personally interacted with each victims, asking about their health and comfort, and wished them a speedy recovery.

During his visit, senior officials and doctors provided detailed updates on each victim’s condition, the medical care being administered, and ongoing treatment. The Prime Minister assured the patients and their families that the government is closely monitoring the condition and will provide all necessary support during this difficult time.

A powerful car blast near Delhi’s Red Fort on Monday evening killed at least 12 people and left several others injured. The explosion took place just 300 metres from the historic monument

So far, 15 people have been arrested and three detained by central and state agencies. Investigations revealed that the car was being driven by a doctor from Al-Falah University in Haryana’s Faridabad.
