Odisha Govt Releases List Of Public & Optional Holidays For 2026; Details Here

Bhubaneswar: The Odisha government has released the calendar for 2026, listing out public and optional holidays, along with festival/commemorative days failing on Sunday and second and fourth Saturday.
There are a total of 29 general holidays for government offices in the state this year, which are as follows:
There are a total of nine optional holidays. The government employees will be allowed to avail one optional holiday on any one of the festive occasions and commemorative days listed here.
