An official statement revealed that the Indian Air Force (IAF) conducted the Mahagujarat-25 (MGR-25) exercise from October 29 to November 11 in the western region. This exercise showcased the IAF's capability to perform various operations, ranging from air missions to maritime and joint land-air operations.

Utilizing all available resources and infrastructure, IAF fighter jets launched operations from the Hirasar International Airport. The exercise highlighted the high level of civilian multi-task coordination and synergy necessary to achieve mission objectives. According to the statement, the exercise validated defense preparedness through integrated operations in a multi-domain battlefield, emphasizing technological communication and regional coordination.

The exercise reflected unified teamwork and coordination among administration, logistics, and maintenance, underscoring the IAF's integrated approach to mission readiness. Earlier on Tuesday, Lieutenant General Dheeraj Seth, PVSM, AVSM, General Officer Commanding-in-Chief of the Southern Command, reviewed the operational readiness of the Konark Corps during the ongoing tri-service exercise, Trishul, which is a key component of the Akhand Prahar exercise.

This exercise focused on demonstrating the Indian Army's capability to conduct integrated, multi-domain operations in close coordination with the IAF. During the exercise, the army commander observed a series of joint arms maneuvers, showcasing seamless inter-service coordination and the refinement of tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs). The exercise also incorporated next-generation battlefield technologies, including drones, counter-drone systems, and advanced surveillance assets, highlighting the army's emphasis on modern warfare preparedness.
