In batting, along with Virat Kohli, Phil Salt, Captain Patidar, Devdutt Padikal, Tim David, Jitesh Sharma, Romario Shepherd, Jacob Bethel and Krunal Pandya can be retained.
With this, in bowling, Josh Hazlewood, Lungi Ngidi, Nuwan Thushara, Suyash Sharma, Swastik Chikara, Swapnil Singh, Manoj Bhandage and Bhuvneshwar Kumar can be re-tagged. The pair of Hazlewood and Kumar had taken a total of 39 wickets in the 2025 IPL season.
