In the end, when this dispute was not resolved, its decision was left to the sages.

The sages and sages, after deep discussion, declared Lord Shiva to be the best. Hearing this, Lord Brahma became jealous. He got angry. He was not satisfied with this decision. In anger he said insulting things to Lord Shiva. This behavior of Lord Brahma made Lord Shiva very angry. At the same time he assumed the fierce form. Kalbhairav ​​appeared in that brilliant form of Lord Shiva.

Kalbhairav ​​cut off the fifth head of Lord Brahma. Because of this he felt guilty of killing a Brahmin. Karbhairav ​​went to all the places of pilgrimage to get freedom from this sin, but he could not free himself from the sin. When Bhairav ​​approached Lord Vishnu during his pilgrimage, he advised him to go to Kashi. After this Lord Kalbhairav ​​reached Kashi. There he took bath in the confluence of Ganga and Matsyodari.
