FMGE December 2025: The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) has announced the exam dates for the Foreign Medical Graduate Examination (FMGE) December 2025 session. According to the official notice, the FMGE December 2025 exam will be held on January 17, 2026.

The online registration process will begin on November 14, 2025, at 3:00 PM and will continue until December 4, 2025, at 11:55 PM. Candidates can apply by visiting the official website, natboard.edu.in.

What is the FMGE exam?
The FMGE exam is for Indian students who have completed MBBS from foreign universities and wish to register as doctors in India. Passing this screening test is mandatory for candidates to practice as doctors in the country.

NBEMS stated that a detailed information bulletin and application form will be released on the website on November 14. The exam will be conducted in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode at various centers across the country.

FMGE June 2025 Result
A total of 37,207 candidates registered for the FMGE June 2025 session, of which 36,034 appeared for the exam. Of these, only 6,707 passed. The pass percentage was approximately 18%, while the failure rate reached 81.39%. To pass, candidates must score at least 150 out of a total of 300 marks.

Foreign Graduates Protesting
Meanwhile, hundreds of foreign medical graduates protested outside the National Medical Commission (NMC) office on Tuesday. The students alleged that their eligibility certificates were being withheld for years in the name of verification.
