UPMSP Junior Assistant Recruitment 2025: Recruitment for the long-standing Junior Assistant positions in the Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad (UPMSP) offices is imminent. Preparations are underway for direct recruitment for a total of 282 Junior Assistant positions at the UP Board's Prayagraj headquarters and its five regional offices.

Currently, the UP Board has 415 approved Junior Assistant positions. The Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission (UPSSSC) has already issued advertisements for 105 of these positions. The Board has also submitted information regarding 177 additional vacant positions to the Commission. It is expected that the recruitment process for these positions will begin soon.

Previously, 222 Junior Assistants were recruited in 2019, while a special selection process was conducted for Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, and Denotified Tribes in 2007-08.

Only 50 percent of junior clerk positions on the board are filled through direct recruitment, while the remaining 50 percent are filled through promotions from Category IV employees. However, since Category IV employees are now being recruited through outsourcing, the possibility of filling positions through promotions has been eliminated.

There is now a possibility that direct recruitment will be implemented for all positions, so that long-standing vacancies can be filled and office operations can continue smoothly.
