Shaheen’s divorced husband Dr. Hayat Zafar says that she went abroad, did not return and got divorced. On the other hand, after Jaish-e-Mohammed women’s wing commander Dr. Shaheen’s Kanpur connection came forward, the police took nine criminals and history-sheeters involved in suspicious activities in Anwarganj, Bajaria, Chamanganj and Colonelganj into custody for a few hours and after questioning them, released them with instructions. Shaheen was fond of luxury lifestyle

Shaheen’s divorced husband Dr. Zafar is currently posted as an eye surgeon in KPM Hospital. He told that Shaheen did not keep any contact after leaving him in the year 2013, and in the year 2015, she took divorce as per Shariat. He claimed, there was no conversation of any kind with Shaheen for the last 12 years. He said that Shaheen’s ambition was very high. She was always used to living a better lifestyle. Dr. Hayat Zafar told that Dr. Shaheen’s high aspirations of settling abroad became the reason for their divorce. Shaheen wished that he should have a home in a European country. For this she often put pressure on her husband. In response to Shaheen’s insistence, Zafar used to say that everything here is ours. There are relatives, friends and a happy life. Our country is our own, all this will not be found abroad. He says that there was no fighting in the family, only the thinking was different.

Dr. Zafar claims that when Shaheen joined GSVM Medical College in the year 2006, he used to practice in the city at that time. During this time they met and after a few days both their families got the arranged marriage done. Both of them got divorced within seven years and two months. According to Zafar, Shaheen never wore burqa and religious restrictions were also not accepted. Investigation revealed that Dr. Shaheen Saeed of Lucknow was a promising student. Was the class topper. After passing the Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission examination, she got the post of Assistant Professor in Ganesh Shankar Vidyarthi Memorial Medical College, Kanpur. Dr. Zafar told that he has two children, who live together. Dr. Shaheen never tried to talk to his children.

ATS is searching for Shaheen’s contacts
At present, the police and ATS team are busy searching for Shaheen’s old contacts and locations. In the case of Dr. Shaheen, the ATS team went to the section to medical teachers in GSVM Medical College and looked at the records. After this, she took Shaheen’s appointment letter and other records with herself. The ATS team also questioned college principal Dr. Sanjay Kala and other officials. Principal Dr. Kala asked for Dr. Shaheen’s file and looked at it. Medical teachers present on the occasion said that there was a discussion that after suddenly leaving the job, Shaheen had gone to the Gulf country Saudi or Kuwait. After dismissal, when Shaheen’s application for experience certificate came, it was found that he was currently in Lucknow. During her posting in Kanpur, Dr. Shaheen’s mood was serious; being senior, she was also the head of the department. Disputes in personal life led to divorce. When asked anything regarding Dr. Shaheen, the medical teacher of the Pharmacology Department kept maintaining silence. It is noteworthy that in the year 2021, five more medical teachers including Dr. Shaheen were dismissed. Apart from Shaheen, four other doctors also left the job without notice and did not respond to the notices.
