England may have already secured their place at the 2026 World Cup, but Thursday evening's clash with Serbia will provide Thomas Tuchel with crucial insight. The German manager guided the Three Lions to next year's tournament following England's commanding 5-0 victory over Latvia in October.

However, the latest international window has witnessed Tuchel ring the changes to his squad. The former Chelsea boss has recalled Jude Bellingham for the upcoming double-header against Serbia and Albania. The Real Madrid star makes his return after being omitted from the previous two England camps amid contentious circumstances, as he continues his recovery from an injury setback

Bellingham has been accompanied back into the fold by Phil Foden, who was notably absent from Tuchel's previous selection. Meanwhile, Myles Lewis-Skelly, Morgan Gibbs-White, Ruben Loftus-Cheek and Ollie Watkins are amongst those to miss out.

Discussing the opportunities these fixtures present, Tuchel emphasised that players can still emerge from the wilderness to secure World Cup berths.

"We have to stay open-minded because young players can come through," he said. "Those who are struggling for minutes can play important roles for their clubs.

"I need to make sure the door is always open and they are on their toes, and they have a chance to be with us. The final nomination is only in May, and until then, anything can happen."

England vs Serbia is set to get underway on Thursday, November 13 at 7:45pm, taking place at Wembley Stadium.

ITV1 will be airing England's latest World Cup qualifier for free, having secured the television rights to England's men's fixtures last year. The coverage will be presented by Mark Pougatch, live from Wembley.

The pre-match build-up will kick off at 7pm on ITV1, with the coverage expected to conclude by 10pm, barring any unforeseen delays. For those on the move, the match can be live-streamed via ITVX, the broadcaster's streaming and on-demand service.

England will have to make do without both Nick Pope and Anthony Gordon, as the Newcastle duo were forced to withdraw from the Three Lions squad.

Crystal Palace skipper Marc Guehi is also a doubt for England's international double-header due to a foot injury, a significant setback for Tuchel given the 25-year-old's recent importance in the German's plans.
