The real reason Angry Ginger signed up to I'm A Celebrity has been shared as a close friend claimed that he is on the search for a girlfriend.
The 23-year-old Twitch streamer has become something of a Gen Z icon, boasting more than five million followers across his social media accounts.
Now, The internet personality, whose real name is Morgan Burtwistle, is set to appear on ITV hit reality show I'm A Celeb alongside a number of famous faces including his UK rapper friend Aitch and Emmerdale actress Lisa Riley.
ITV bosses are hoping that the Youtuber will draw in a big crowd and before the series has even started, Ginge has already been named the early favourite to be crowned King of the Jungle by bookmakers.
Ahead of his debut appearance on Sunday (November 16) night, one of Angry Ginge's close pals has revealed the real reason he signed up for the reality show.
A fan shared a clip to TikTok from fellow Youtube and Twitch stars Tays and Scousemali video together, where the pair could be heard discussing Angry Ginge's upcoming TV appearance.
While sitting in front of a computer screen, Tays went on to say: "Ginge told me before he went on there, that he's going on I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here to find a girlfriend."
He continued: "That is the reason he said he is going on I'm A Celebrity. He said that he is going there to find a girlfriend."
Scocuemali chimed in and added: "He's going on there to find love. I mean I never got told this, Tays MCR got told this information then Scouse Somali got told second this information. Scouse Somali from Liverpool."
It comes as Angry Ginge recently hinted that he's already breached a significant I'm A Celebrity rule days before the show starts.
The YouTube sensation cheekily quipped that he's already chatted to three of his 2025 contestants before the cameras start rolling.
Contestants are forbidden from disclosing their co-stars' identities before ITV officially reveals them - or communicating with them beforehand.
Regardless, he playfully suggested he'd been chatting on the phone to Kelly Brook and Lisa Riley. Before he left Brisbane Airport prior to the programme, he told The Sun: "I'm very excited - I've never been here before so it should be fun.
"You won't actually believe why I'm here... I got a random phone call last night from Kelly Brook, saying she's 'coming to visit her auntie Sheila, do I want to join her?'.
"So I said, 'I might as well'. Then Lisa Riley rings me and says she's doing Dingles Down Under, do I want to join her? I said I might as well.
"Then Aitch said he's going on tour, so I said I'll join him as well. And then Aitch's mum rings me and says, 'I've got two weeks in Australia, I've just won off Postcode Lottery, do I want to join her? I said I might as well!".
