Doha. In the ACC Men’s Asia Cup Rising Stars 2025, Vaibhav Suryavanshi defeated him in the very first match. On November 14 (Friday), Vaibhav scored a century in just 32 balls in the match against United Arab Emirates (UAE) at the West End Park International Cricket Stadium in Doha. 14 year old Vaibhav Suryavanshi had reached fifty in just 17 balls during this innings. Vaibhav along with Naman Dheer added 163 runs in just 56 balls for the second wicket. Naman scored 34 runs on 22 balls. Vaibhav was caught by Mohammad Farazuddin at the hands of Ahmed Tariq. If seen, Vaibhav’s century in 32 balls has jointly come third in the list of fastest Indian centuries in Men’s T20 cricket.

Also, Vaibhav Suryavanshi has become the first cricketer to score century in 35 or less balls on two occasions in Men’s T20 cricket. Vaibhav, playing for Rajasthan Royals (RR) in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025, scored a century in just 35 balls against Gujarat Titans (GT). This was the fastest century by an Indian batsman in IPL.
Vaibhav Suryavanshi has also been in great form in Under-19 cricket in recent times. In the Test series on Australia tour, Vaibhav had scored 133 runs in 3 innings, which included 113 runs scored on 86 balls in the first match. In the Under-19 ODI series on the England tour, he scored 355 runs at an average of 71.00. Vaibhav made his Ranji Trophy debut at the age of 12 and got an IPL contract at the age of 13. Then he scored a century in IPL, with which he became the youngest centurion in T20 cricket.
Continuous brilliant performances on big stages from a very young age and record-breaking innings show that Vaibhav Suryavanshi can become a big star of Indian cricket in the future. Vaibhav has become a part of India Under-19 and India-A team. Now it should not be a surprise if he enters the senior team. In List-A matches, Vaibhav has 132 runs at an average of 22.00. Vaibhav has scored one half-century in List-A and his strike rate has been 110.00.
Whereas in T20 cricket, Vaibhav Suryavanshi has scored 409 runs at an average of 45.44, which included 2 centuries and 1 half-century. Vaibhav’s strike rate in T20 cricket has been more than 200, which explains his stormy batting. Vaibhav represents Bihar in domestic cricket.
