The Rajasthan Staff Selection Board has announced a significant update regarding the results of the Fourth Grade Employee Recruitment Exam 2024. According to the board, the results will be declared by January 15. Additionally, the objection process for the exam questions will be completed by the end of November, with resolutions expected by the end of December due to a lower number of objections. This means candidates can anticipate the results early next year.
Exam Participation Details
The examination took place from September 19 to 21, attracting a total of 24,71,066 applicants, out of which 21,17,198 candidates participated. This indicates a participation rate of approximately 85.68%.
Reasons for Delay in Result Announcement
Alok Raj, the board president, addressed concerns regarding the delay in announcing the results on social media. A candidate suggested that the results should be released only after the police, patwari, and VDO recruitments to prevent those selected for smaller positions from leaving for larger opportunities. In response, Alok Raj stated that he aims to ensure the Fourth Grade exam results are released after the patwari recruitment and, if possible, after the VDO recruitment to avoid any issues in the selection process.
High Competition for Limited Positions
There are 53,749 vacancies in this recruitment drive, with over 21 lakh candidates competing for these positions. This translates to nearly 39 candidates vying for each available seat.
