WBSSC SLST 2025: The West Bengal School Service Commission (WBSSC) has released the preliminary interview list of 20,500 candidates for the School Level Selection Test (SLST) 2025. Interested candidates can download the SLST 2025 information letter online.

The list contains the names and roll numbers of the candidates and can be viewed on the official website, westbengalssc.com. SLST 2025 was conducted to recruit teachers for Classes 11 and 12 in state-run and state-aided higher secondary schools. The exam concluded on September 14, 2025.

How will the selection be conducted?

"Around 20,500 candidates have been called for interviews after mandatory verification," he said.

He said, "The interview list is prepared based on three criteria: the candidate's marks in the written exam (60 points), teaching experience (10 points), and eligibility (10 points).

Interviews will be conducted in a 1:1.6 ratio, meaning 160 candidates will be called for 100 posts in each subject.

The exam was conducted for 35 subjects.
The exam, held on September 14, was conducted at 478 centers for 35 subjects, each carrying 60 marks.

The official said that most of the "clean" candidates from the 2016 exam, 26,000 of whom had their jobs canceled following the April 3 Supreme Court order, are included in the interview list to fill vacancies in 12,445 posts for classes 11-12.

The official said that the verification process before the interviews will begin on November 18.
