IMD Jobs 2025: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has released an official notification for the recruitment of 134 Administrative Assistant, Project Scientist, and other positions. Interested and eligible candidates can apply online through the official website. The deadline for submitting applications is December 14, 2025.

A total of 136 positions will be filled under this recruitment drive. This includes one position for Project Scientist-E, 14 positions for Project Scientist-III, 23 positions for Project Scientist-II, and 71 positions for Project Scientist-I. Additionally, 25 positions for Scientific Assistant and two positions for Administrative Assistant have been designated.

Who can apply?
For the Project Scientist position, candidates must have an M.Sc., B.Tech., or B.E. degree in the relevant discipline, with a minimum of 60% marks.

For the position of Scientific Assistant, candidates must have a bachelor's degree in Physics or a related engineering subject.

For the position of Administrative Assistant, a bachelor's degree with computer proficiency is mandatory to enable them to smoothly manage daily office work, document management, and administrative processes.

Age Limit Requirements
The maximum age limit is higher for senior positions, while it is lower for junior positions. The maximum age limit is 35 years for Project Scientist-I, 40 years for Project Scientist-II, and 45 years for Project Scientist-III. The highest-ranking position, Project Scientist-I, has an age limit of 50 years.

Fill in the online application form with personal, educational, and experience details.
Upload scanned documents of photograph, signature, educational certificates, and experience certificates.
