New Delhi. After US President Donald Trump imposed huge tariffs on India, a big deal was signed between India and America on Monday. India is now going to buy liquefied petroleum gas from America. This deal has been signed for one year. Petroleum and Natural Gas Minister Hardeep Singh Puri himself gave this information on Monday.

Petroleum and Natural Gas Minister Hardeep Singh Puri, while sharing a post on the X platform of social media, said that the people of the country are going to get cheap and safe LPG gas. India is one of the fastest growing LPG markets and is the world’s largest LPG market. India’s LPG market is now open to the United States of America. The Government of India is diversifying its LPG sourcing. Indian PSU oil companies will import 2.2 MTPA LPG from America. This import is about ten percent of a year. The Minister of Petroleum and Natural Gas said that LPG will be available from the Gulf Coast of America.
