What's the new feature?

You can now use up to four accounts in a single WhatsApp app:

1 extra number

This feature was previously only available in WhatsApp Business, but is now rolling out to all WhatsApp users.

How does this feature work?

WhatsApp now supports account switching within the app.

This means that the work previously done by Parallel Apps, Dual Apps, or Clone Apps is now being done by WhatsApp itself.

One phone, four WhatsApp accounts - how to activate them
Follow these steps to add a new account:

Step 1: Open WhatsApp

Step 2: Tap your profile photo (DP) on the top right.

Step 3: You'll see the "Add account" option below.

Step 4: Click on it.

Step 5: Enter your new number.

Step 6: Verify the account by entering the OTP.

That's it! Another account has been added to your WhatsApp.

Switching accounts is now incredibly easy.

To switch:

Go to the profile icon again.

Simply tap the account you want to switch to.
