Crackdown on Tobacco Sales in Thural: Five Shopkeepers Penalized

Thural - A targeted initiative against tobacco sales was conducted in the Baerghatta region of Thural block, resulting in fines imposed on five shopkeepers for distributing prohibited tobacco items.
The operation was spearheaded by Dr. Anita Sharma, the Block Medical Officer, who highlighted the government's commitment to addressing the rising issue of addiction and safeguarding the youth from substance misuse.
In support of this campaign, Omkar Singh from the local police actively participated, alongside Supervisor Jeevan Lal, who was also present during the enforcement actions.
