Spinach Tikki Recipe

Material

  • Spinach – 2 cups (finely chopped)
  • Boiled potatoes – 3-4 (crushed)
  • Gram flour or breadcrumbs – 3-4 teaspoons
  • Ginger-garlic paste – 1 teaspoon
  • Green chilli – 1-2 (finely chopped)
  • Red chilli powder – ½ teaspoon
  • Garam masala – ½ teaspoon
  • Dry mango/lemon juice – ½ tsp
  • Salt – as per taste
  • Oil – for shallow frying

Recipe (Spinach Tikki Recipe)

1- Wash spinach and boil it lightly. Squeeze out the water and chop finely.
2- Mix boiled potatoes, spinach, spices, gram flour/breadcrumbs well.
3- Make small tikkis from the mixture. Pour some oil in a pan and shallow fry the tikkis until they become golden on both sides.
4- Serve with hot tomato or coriander chutney.
