As the name of this feature suggests, this feature allows users to delete certain transactions from the primary view. The company said this feature helps manage shared devices, handle sensitive purchases and view financial activity discreetly. The company claims that this feature has been designed keeping in mind the growing privacy needs of users.

Hide Payments feature has come to Paytm

Paytm’s new Hide Payments feature is a more personal and personalized way to manage digital payments. Transactions that are marked as hidden are neither deleted nor modified. These transactions are transferred only to a separate secure section. Paytm claims that all these transactions remain completely secure and can be accessed whenever needed. Hidden transactions can be viewed in the Balance & History section on the Paytm platform. The company claims that Paytm is the first UPI app to provide such features to users. How to hide transactions on Paytm?

• Open the Paytm app and go to the Balance & History tab.
• Now swipe left on the transaction you want to hide.
• Now tap on Hide option that appears on the screen.
• Confirm the selection by tapping on ‘Yes, Hide Payment’.
• Now this transaction will be hidden from your payment history.

How to view hidden transactions on Paytm?

• Now click on the Balance & History tab once again and tap on the three-dot option at the top right.
• Select the ‘View Hidden Payments’ option in the menu.
• Now enter your phone PIN or complete the relevant biometric verification.
• Now your hidden payments will appear on the screen.
• Transactions that are to be unhidden. Swipe left on them and tap Unhide.
• Now these transactions will appear again in your payment history.
