Major growth update for This company as it wins LoA from National Highway Authority of India; Check share gains and other details

Real estate sector company Hazoor Multi Projects Ltd through an exchange filing late on Tuesday night has informed about receiving a major contract from NHAI. The company informed that it has received a major contract from the National Highway Authority of India (NHAI). NHAI has assigned the company the work of operating the User Fee/Toll Collection Agency at Rampura Toll Plaza (Km 23.300 NH 548B - Vijaypur to Sankeshwar section). This work is spread from Km 0/000 to Km 79/700 on a 2/4 lane road (including paved shoulder). The company will also be responsible for the upkeep maintenance and replenishment of the toilet blocks located near the toll plaza. The total project is worth ₹13.87 crore and the contract was awarded based on competitive bidding through e-tendering. The company stated that this contract will further strengthen its infrastructure operations portfolio and expand its presence in highway management. In its filing the company stated that its sales fell by 33.30% to ₹102.11 crore in the September quarter compared to ₹153.08 crore in the same quarter last year. The company reported a net loss of ₹9.93 crore this quarter compared to a net profit of ₹11.02 crore in the same quarter last year. The companys operating profit margin (OPM) fell from 11.86% to -3.86% in Q2. PBDT declined from a profit of ₹16.37 crore to a loss of ₹9.65 crore while PBT also declined from a profit of ₹14.77 crore to a loss of ₹11.05 crore. The companys stock was trading at Rs 27.20 down 4.76% or Rs 1.36 on the BSE at 2:27 pm today. Earlier the company said it had incorporated a new arm to undertake power and renewable energy projects. The development comes after the company informed about its plans to set up a 500 MW solar project in Andhra Pradesh at an investment of Rs 2500 crore last month and a 1.2 GW capacity solar park in Solapur Maharashtra in January.
