Aloo Chaat Recipe: Chaat is a dish which everyone likes very much and eating hot chaat during cold days is a different pleasure. Today we will tell you an easy and very tasty recipe of Delhi Style Aloo Chaat, which you can make immediately for a spicy breakfast in the rosy cold of winter. Material
Boiled potatoes (cut into cubes) – 3–4
Oil-2 tbsp
Red chilli powder-1 teaspoon
Turmeric-½ teaspoon
Roasted cumin – 1 teaspoon ground
Chaat masala-1 teaspoon
Black salt-½ teaspoon
salt-as per taste
Tamarind Chutney-1 tablespoon
Green chutney-1 tablespoon
Green chilli (finely chopped) – 1–2
Onion-1 tablespoon finely chopped
Lemon juice – a little
Fresh coriander (chopped)
Method (Aloo Chaat Recipe)
- Heat oil in a pan. Crush the boiled potatoes by pressing them lightly. Put them in the pan and fry on medium flame till they become golden and crispy.
- Add red chilli, turmeric, roasted cumin powder, chaat masala, black salt and common salt to the crispy potatoes. Mix the spices well in the potatoes while stirring for 3-4 minutes.
- Turn off the gas and take out the roasted spicy potatoes in a big bowl. Add onion, green chilli, green chutney and sweet tamarind chutney on top. Squeeze lemon juice and garnish with coriander.
