What ingredients are required to make Gajar Ka Halwa?
Carrots – 500 grams (grated)
Ghee – 3-4 tablespoons
Milk – 500 ml
Sugar—100-150 grams (depending on taste)
Cashews and almonds—2-3 tablespoons each
Green cardamom – 4-5
How is Carrot Halwa made?
Step 1 – First of all, wash the carrots thoroughly and grate them, then put them in a pressure cooker, add milk and mix well.
Step 2- After this, close the lid of the cooker and let it whistle once, then reduce the flame of the gas and cook for 5-7 minutes.
Step 3 – Now turn off the gas and add ghee to the carrot halwa and mix it well, then add sugar and keep stirring continuously for 5 minutes.
Step 4- After this, add crushed cardamom and chopped cashew nuts and almonds and cook it till it becomes thick and granular.
