A "legendary" TV personality storms off in the Netflix trailer for an upcoming true crime documentary.
Lady Colin Campbell, better known as Lady C, unexpectedly features in the newly released trailer for Murder in Monaco on Netflix.
The teaser begins with someone asking the eccentric socialite if she wants something to drink and she abruptly replies: "No, thank you. I want this over with as quickly as possible. Start."
The one-off special, which is set for release on Wednesday, December 17, will delve into the mysterious events from Monaco in 1999 when one of the world's richest men, billionaire banker Edmond Safra, dies in his penthouse.
While the documentary focuses on unpacking what really happened to Safra, the real star of the trailer is Lady C who ends the teaser as abruptly as it began.
The closing moments show Lady C throwing her hands up in the air as she declares: "Actually, I'm not doing this. This is at an end. Unf******-believable," before storming off.
As someone questioned if the trailer was "real or not" thanks to Lady C's presence, others can't get enough of the dramatic socialite.
"Only watched this for Lady C in the thumbnail. But now I'm intrigued," a fan said as another echoed: "Very intrigued. What is Lady C's involvement?"
A fellow user posted: "I absolutely love her." While a fourth asked: "Right then who else is here for Lady C?"
"Omg Lady C. Wow. Must watch this" and someone else commented: "Only watching because Lady C is a legend!"
Another comment then simply reads: "Damn son another Netflix banger."
Lady C published a book entitled Empress Bianca, a novel that is widely reported to be based on the life of Lily Safra, Edmond Safra's widow.
Lily sued Campbell's publisher Arcadia Books, forcing the book to be re-called, destroyed and a revised edition was published.
Murder in Monaco premieres on Wednesday, December 17, on Netflix.
