ED’s grip on big mafia and their masters
As soon as the crackdown started in West Bengal, there was a stir among the coal mafia. It is believed that these mafias are connected to many political and influential persons. The biggest action was taken in Salt Lake, Kolkata, where raids were conducted at Kolkata, Durgapur and other locations of accused Narendra Khadka. Apart from this, ED has also raided the locations of these big names. It is noteworthy that many cases of irregularities have already come to light in the coal trade.
