Ant and Dec earn a staggering amount of cash for hosting ITV's I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! The Geordie duo have just signed up to present another series of the popular jungle show, which sees celebs compete for stars to eat well in the camp, with one of them eventually being crowned as the winner.
While the stars eat creepy crawlies and sleep in hammocks in an Australian jungle, Ant and Dec have it cushy as they laugh at their misfortune. Their salaries from the show are also sure to keep them feeling comfortable. Reportedly, the pair signed up to a "golden handcuff" contract, which they agreed to back in 2022 and it is reportedly thought to be worth £40m overall. The affluent deal sees them continue to host I'm A Celeb, Britain's Got Talent and gameshow Limitless Win. A TV insider previously told the press: "This is one of the last golden handcuff deals in television but ITV see Ant and Dec as a worthwhile investment.
"They're still loved by the public and front some of the channel's biggest and most successful shows."
Reportedly, Ant and Dec's "golden handcuff' deal with ITV, spans three years at a time. However, the contract comes with strict rules, meaning that the pair cannot work for another broadcaster or streaming service outside of the channel.
It also means that they get paid a lump sum for all of their work combined, rather than per individual show. Their annual salary right now is said to include ITV presenting duties for I'm a Celebrity, Saturday Night Takeaway, Limitless Win and Britain's Got Talent.
ITV was thought to have been keen to finalise the contract for the pair after interest from streaming services such as Netflix and Amazon Prime.
At the time of the contract being signed for another three years, Kevin Lygo, ITV's head of programming, said: "The world of television and streaming is always a much brighter place with Ant and Dec at the centre of it.
"We look forward to continuing our successful working relationship with them across the next three years."
