Delhi News: The weather is likely to remain clear in the capital Delhi on Sunday, but the air is still extremely polluted. AQI was recorded in the morning at 447, which falls in the ‘Hazards’ category and is considered harmful to health. The main reason for this is the lack of improvement in the levels of PM2.5 and PM10. Not only this, the Delhi government has also imposed many restrictions along with Grape-3 to improve pollution, but the situation is not improving.
There is a continuous decline in temperature, the maximum temperature is expected to be around 25 degrees Celsius and the minimum temperature is expected to be 11 degrees Celsius. Along with this, mist and fog will also be seen in the morning and evening.
Advice to children and elderly to stay at home
For the last one month, the poisonous air of Delhi has completely affected the life of people. In view of the level of pollution, Delhi government recently implemented a rule like Grape-3, but there is no significant improvement in the situation. Health experts have considered Delhi’s air extremely dangerous and have advised to keep children and elderly people at home. This is fatal for respiratory patients.
AQI 447 in Delhi, air extremely polluted
Delhi’s AQI was recorded at 447 in the morning, the main reason for which is the presence of pollution particles in the air many times more than the normal level. The level of PM2.5 has been recorded at 299 and the level of PM10 has been recorded at 398. Due to these two reasons, the poison dissolved in the air is not being controlled. According to the Meteorological Department, unless the wind speed increases in the next few days, there is little chance of relief from pollution.
Fog will affect visibility
The sky will be clear in the capital today, although there is a possibility of light fog in the morning and evening, which will also affect the visibility. The minimum temperature is expected to be around 11 degrees Celsius and the maximum temperature is expected to be 25 to 26 degrees Celsius. Whereas in some areas the night temperature can fall up to 10 degrees. The weather is likely to remain cold for the next one week. In view of the increasing cold, it has been advised not to sleep in the open at night.
