Engine

The bike features a 648cc BS6-compliant, parallel-twin engine, which generates 47 bhp power and 52 Nm of torque. This engine is quite popular for its smoothness, refined performance and linear power delivery. The six-speed gearbox makes riding more fun in it. On the highway, this engine seems very stable and its power in the city also feels very controlled. The 12.5 liter fuel tank and weighing 211 kg give it a strong, mounted and reliable riding feel.

The Royal Enfield Continental GT 650 is famous for its classic cafe racer design. Its round headlight, twin-pod instrument cluster, clip-on handlebar, rear cowl and dual exhaust — all make it a special choice for retro bike lovers. In the 2023 update, Royal Enfield has given new color options, including blackened-out themes such as Slipstream Blue and Apex Grey. These color variants feature alloy wheels and tubeless tyres. The rest of the paint options such as Mr Clean, British Racing Green, Rocker Red and Dux Deluxe are still available with wire-spoke wheels.
Features

Some new features were added to it with the 2023 model. It now has an LED headlight, which gives much better light than the earlier halogen unit. The new switchgear from the Super Meteor 650 makes it more modern. The redesigned comfort saddle gives the rider better support in long rides. USB charging ports are also now included, making tasks such as phone charging easier.However, the rear headlight is still halogen and the twin-pod instrument cluster and dual-channel ABS are similar to the older model.
Suspension
The Royal Enfield Continental GT 650 is based on a steel tubular double-cradle frame. Telescopic forks at the front and preload-adjustable twin springs at the rear are provided. This setup keeps the bike stable even at high-speed and provides good grip even during cornering. Ground clearance is 174mm, making it comfortable even on bad roads.
