Priyanka Chopra shared two pictures on her Instagram account. The first is an old picture of Dharmendra, while in the second picture Priyanka is seen receiving the award from Dharmendra. While sharing these photos, Priyanka remembered her debut in the Bollywood industry. The actress wrote- ‘In the year 2001, my first signing amount in films came from Vijayata Films. My initial Hindi films were made under his banner, with his elder son. At that time I did not know anyone in Mumbai, but Dharmendra ji and his family gave me so much love and respect that I started feeling at home. This grief is very personal for me.

Priyanka Chopra further wrote in her post- ‘Some people leave only films, some people leave after making a place in their heart. Dharmendra ji has left both. There was no comparison to his smile and personality. Made such a big name in the industry without any godfather and took the whole family along. Was a true Hindi film hero.
