The engine
The new KTM 390 Duke is now more powerful than ever. It has a 398.63cc BS6 engine which gives 45.3 bhp and 39 Nm of torque. Simply put, this engine is “responsive”. Whether you are driving on the city streets or at a high speed on the highway, it gives smooth and powerful performance every time. With a six-speed gearbox, this engine is made even better than the slipper clutch and quickshifter. Gear shift is so easy that you feel a different level of riding.
design
In terms of design, it is by far the most aggressive and muscular duke. The LED headlamps at the front are wider than before, and DRLs make it even sharper. The fuel tank shroud has been enlarged and stretched outward, making the bike look more ruff and stylish. Split seat setup and exposed rear subframes give it a pure streetfighter look. Overall, the 2024 KTM 390 Duke looks more bold, more muscular and luxurious than before.
Features
KTM has also upgraded this bike significantly in terms of features. The 390 Duke has launch control and three different riding modes — Street, Rain and Track —, which means you can choose from Quiet, Gripy or Full-On Racing modes. The five-inch TFT instrument cluster is its technology hub, allowing you to adjust all modes and safety features. It also has features such as smartphone connectivity, music control, call alert and turn-by-turn navigation.
Braking
The braking setup is also quite powerful. It has 320mm discs on the front and 240mm discs on the back. Advance safety features such as dual-channel ABS, cornering ABS and supermoto ABS are also included. This means that your bike has less chance of skidding even at faster speeds. A 17-inch alloy wheel with metzeller tires gives this bike a great grip on the road, making both riding and cornering easier at faster speeds.
