BE 6: The last days of November are going to prove to be no less than a festival for SUV and EV lovers. Mahindra is launching two powerful electric SUVs in India in two consecutive days. On one hand, there will be a limited edition racing-style BE 6 Formula Edition and on the other hand, the company will present its first 7-seater electric SUV – XEV 9S. New design, high-tech features and long range—all together are going to disrupt the EV market.
BE 6 Formula Edition – The flavor of racing and the grandeur of limited edition
Mahindra’s BE 6 has already made a place in the hearts of people. Now its new avatar BE 6 Formula Edition is going to be launched on 26th November. It will be a limited edition completely inspired by Formula E racing, which makes it even more exclusive and special. Its limited nature means that this car will not be available to everyone – only selected people will be able to own it.
From the new LED design to the sporty finish – a massive upgrade in style
According to the teaser, the new BE 6 Formula Edition will get “eyebrow-style” LED DRL in place of the old C-shaped DRL, which will give the car a very aggressive and recognizable look from the front. New sleek tail lamps have also been installed in the rear. Sporty stickers on the exterior and carbon-fibre touches on the interior—all this is enough to give the car a complete racing-grade feel.
Mahindra XEV 9S – The company’s first 7-seater electric SUV
Launching on November 27, the XEV 9S is an SUV that Mahindra is preparing specifically for the family segment. This will be India’s first 7-seater electric SUV, which currently has no direct competition with any model. Space, comfort and EV technology for large families – the combination of all three makes it very special.
Features and powerful battery range that compete with luxury SUVs
The XEV 9S will get features that are often found in expensive luxury SUVs—Harman Kardon sound system, three-screen digital dashboard, powered tailgate, power seats with boss mode, large panoramic sunroof and frunk (front trunk). Talking about battery, 69kWh and 79kWh options will be available, whose real life range will be more than 450 km.
