Rapidly increasing demand for e-rickshaw – why the market is growing
After the Corona epidemic, the need for cheap and easy travel has increased in cities. This is the reason why the demand for e-rickshaw has increased rapidly. More than 45,000 e-rickshaws are hitting the roads every month. People consider e-rickshaw to be the easiest way to reach metro, train and bus stands. Due to this, the need for a reliable and durable electric rickshaw has also increased in the market.
Problems of old e-rickshaw – low range, weak braking
Many e-rickshaws present in the market look good on paper, but problems start appearing as soon as they come on the road. Sometimes the range is less, sometimes the battery gets discharged quickly, and sometimes the braking system and balance becomes weak. Service network is also limited in many places, due to which drivers face a lot of trouble.
Answer to all these problems – Bajaj Ricky
Bajaj Riki has been designed keeping these challenges in mind. The company claims that this e-rickshaw is more durable, less maintenance and will provide a more comfortable driving experience than before. It has been specially designed to last longer and earn more at less expense.
Road Tested – Not just for show
Bajaj Rikki was tested on real roads in places like Bihar, Assam, Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh before its launch. After successful testing in Patna, Guwahati, Moradabad and Raipur, it has now been launched in more than 100 cities. Its design has been prepared not on paper, but keeping in mind the real Indian roads.
Great features – Strong body, better balance and fast charging
Bajaj Riki has been given a monocoque chassis, which makes it more strong and balanced. Independent suspension reduces shocks and provides stability on turns. The hydraulic brakes provide excellent control even in heavy traffic. Its battery gets fully charged in just 4.5 hours.
Excellent range and service support
Its passenger model P4005 has a range of 149 km on a single charge, while the range of the cargo model C4005 goes up to 164 km. More range means more trips and more earnings. The company is also offering the benefit of 3 years battery warranty and service network spread across the country.
