October 2025 Scooter Sales Report: Activa again number-1, EV scooters also created a stir

TVS Jupiter sale 2025: The popularity of scooters is continuously increasing in the Indian two-wheeler market. Easy driving, low maintenance and convenient design for people of all ages make them special. The sales report for October 2025 has come out, and this time too there was tremendous competition in the scooter segment. Let us know which model strengthened its hold in the market and whose sales declined.

Tremendous grip of Activa and Jupiter

Honda Activa has once again proved that it is the first choice of Indian customers. In October 2025, 3,26,551 units of this scooter were sold and it remained at number-1 with an annual growth of 22.39%. Activa’s market share in total scooter sales was 44.29%. TVS Jupiter stood at second position. It achieved sales of 1,18,888 units, showing a growth of 8.37%. Jupiter’s market share was 16.13%.

Access sales decline, Ntorq and Dio show momentum

Suzuki Access may have remained in third place, but its sales declined. 70,327 units were sold in October 2025, while last year the figure was 74,813—a decline of about 6%. At the same time, TVS Ntorq performed brilliantly and got the fourth position with sales of 41,718 units. Its sales registered an increase of 4.13%. Honda Dio also showed momentum in the market and stood at fifth position with 36,340 units sold. This model recorded an increase of 9.53%.

Chetak and iQube have established a hold in the EV market

Bajaj Chetak and TVS iQube registered a strong presence in the electric scooter segment.

  • Bajaj Chetak: 34,900 units sold, 13.89% growth annually
  • TVS iQube: 31,989 units sold, increase of 10.60%
  • Both the models are giving tremendous competition in the EV market.

Great growth of Burgman, Destini 125 and RayZR

  • Suzuki Burgman took the eighth position with sales of 27,058 units this month and showed a huge growth of 32.13%.
  • Hero Destini 125 made a record. It recorded sales of 26,754 units, a jump of 83.93%.
  • Yamaha RayZR was also not far behind and registered a strong growth of 23.23% with sales of 22,738 units.
