Why is the 2025 Tata Sierra Adventure+ variant special?

Tata Motors has added a number of features to the Adventure+ variant of the Sierra, which were previously available only in high-end cars. One of these features is Frequency Dependent Dampers (FDD). It completely changes the drive of the car. This normal suspension works at a fixed rate. Whether the road is rough or very rough, its damping doesn’t change much. Due to this technology, the car drives comfortably on rough roads.

How does this feature work?

As the car moves on the road, the suspension moves up and down several times a second to absorb road shocks. A simple suspension always operates on the same firmness. But Frequency Dependent Dampers (FDD) automatically adjust themselves by sensing the frequency of road bumps.

In small potholes, the suspension softens for a more comfortable ride, while at high speeds on the highway, it firms up a bit to provide better stability and control to the vehicle. This feature is only available on Adventure+ and above variants, which makes these variants more special.
