Board exams will be held twice from the next session.
The Rajasthan Board has made a major change to its board exams, similar to the CBSE. According to details shared by Rajasthan Education Minister Madan Dilawar, board exams will be held twice from this session (2026). The first stage of examinations will be conducted in February-March, which will be considered the main examination. After the results of the main examinations are declared, re-examinations will be conducted in May-June.
For the information of all students and their parents, participation in the first stage examinations is mandatory. In addition, students who pass all subjects in the second stage will be able to retake the examination to improve their scores in any three subjects. Furthermore, students who fail or have a supplementary exam will also be able to re-take the examination for three subjects.
Exam Timing
As in the previous session, the Rajasthan Board will conduct examinations for all subjects in a single shift. The exam timing will be from 8:30 am to 11:45 am. Students are advised to visit the official website regularly for the latest exam updates.
