GPSC Veterinary Officer Recruitment 2025: The Gujarat Public Service Commission has released the notification for the Veterinary Officer Recruitment 2025. This recruitment drive will fill a total of 70 Class-II Veterinary Officer positions. Interested candidates can apply through the official online application link. The deadline for applications is December 13, 2025 (11:59 PM).

A total of 70 positions will be filled under this recruitment drive, including 33 for the General category, 7 for the EWS, 18 for the SEBC, 4 for the Scheduled Castes (SC), and 8 for the Scheduled Tribes (ST).

Who can apply?
Have a B.V.Sc. & AH or B.V.Sc./AH degree from a recognized university in India.
The degree must be recognized by the Veterinary Council of India (VCI).
Have basic computer knowledge (as specified in the Gujarat Rules 1967).
Have adequate knowledge of Gujarati or Hindi.

Upon selection, registration will be required with the Gujarat Veterinary Council or the Indian Veterinary Council.

Unreserved female candidates of Gujarat origin will receive a 5-year age relaxation, while candidates from the EWS, SEBC, SC, and ST categories of Gujarat origin will also receive a 5-year age relaxation. Similarly, female candidates of Gujarat origin belonging to the WS, SEBC, SC, and ST categories will receive a 10-year age relaxation (up to a maximum of 45 years). Ex-servicemen (including ECOs/SSCOs) will receive an additional 3 years of age relaxation, in addition to their military service period.

Salary: Candidates selected for this recruitment will receive a monthly salary ranging from ₹44,900 to ₹1,42,400 under Pay Matrix Level 8.
