PSSSB Clerk Vacancy 2025: The Punjab Subordinate Services Selection Board (PSSSB) has announced new recruitment for clerk positions in various departments, including Animal Husbandry, Finance, and the Sports Directorate. The online application process for this recruitment has begun on the board's official website, sssb.punjab.gov.in. Candidates can fill out the application form at any time until December 26, 2025.

Educational Qualifications
Candidates must have a bachelor's degree from a recognized university. They must also have completed a 120-hour computer course or obtained an 'O' level certificate. Proficiency in the Punjabi language requires that the candidate have studied Punjabi up to the 10th grade. For the Clerk (IT) position, applicants must have a BCA/B.Sc. (IT)/Bachelor's degree in Computer Science.

Computer Qualifications and Language Ability
Candidates must not only have completed a computer course but also have a basic understanding of computer applications and typing. Additionally, since recruitment is conducted in the state of Punjab, proficiency in the Punjabi language is mandatory, which is confirmed by proof of having studied Punjabi up to the 10th grade. This requirement is binding for each post.

Age Limit
The minimum age for applicants is 18 years, and the maximum age is 37 years. Relaxations in the upper age limit are also provided for various categories. SC/ST/BC category candidates receive a 5-year relaxation, while SC/ST-BC/BC female candidates receive an 8-year relaxation. The age limit will be calculated as of January 1, 2025.

Selection Process
Selected candidates will receive a salary of ₹19,900 per month in the Level-2 pay scale. This basic pay is as per the standards set by the state government, and may include allowances and other benefits from time to time.
