BPSC AEDO 2025: The scramble for government jobs is nothing new. However, the number of applications received for one recruitment in Bihar has broken all records. The Bihar Public Service Commission received 9.7 lakh applications for 935 Assistant Education Development Officer (AEDO) vacancies. According to the BPSC, an average of 75,000-85,000 applications were received daily during the last five days of registration.
The Bihar Public Service Commission exam for this recruitment will be held in January 2026. The Commission has issued a notice stating that, despite heavy traffic, candidates experienced no problems applying on the website.
What is the salary of an AEDO?
Assistant Education Development Officers (AEDOs) will receive a salary according to the Level-5 scale (29,200). Of the total 935 vacancies, 319 seats are reserved for women.

BPSC AEDO 2025: Selection Process
